The official celebration marked the 32nd anniversary of Rwanda's liberation on July 4, 1994. Held on July 22, 2026, the event successfully combined the duty of remembrance with a strong geo-economic vision, attracting more than 200 distinguished guests.

The ceremony brought together a diverse audience that included senior members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Algeria, representatives of the Rwandan diaspora, and members of civil society.
